Reserve Office Main Functions
|
|
|
- Provide staff assistance and advice on matters pertaining
to healthcare, Army Reserve readiness, operations and training for Wartrace medical units.
- Provide technical guidance on US Army Reserves Warrior Transition Office (WTO)/Warriors in
Transition (WT) in policy issues.
- Reconcile Army Reserve mobilized Individual Ready Reserve (IRR), Individual Mobilization
Augmentee (IMA), Active Guard Reserve (AGR), and Troop Program Unit (TPU) personnel policy with
Active Component and National Guard policies
- Identify trends and initiatives within the Army Reserve Community, WTO/WTU, to include
technical/clinical issues and strength/force structure issues.
- Conduct research, consolidate information and provide statistical tracking, technical reports,
management metrics to support implementation of the Warriors In Transition and the Army’s vision
- Represent NARMC Regional interests in WTO/WTU transformation and realignment projects to ensure
seamless transition with minimal disruption of Warrior in Transition “Soldier” support while
healing.
- Plan and implement information systems and coordinate system priorities. Perform intermediate
and long range planning of information needs. These functions are to support the personnel
management.
- Process and prepare inquiry replies addressed to the NARMC WTO or received from Congressmen,
senior public officials, various agencies or an individual concerning unusual requests, justifiable
complaints and criticisms, litigation and legal matters to the extent that records are available
and priorities permit.
- Maintain relationship with Liaison , WTO and AR Warriors in Transition internal and external
by providing career life cycle management/counseling for future REFRAD after healing is complete
in order to sustain and ensure trained and ready Warriors are retained.
